Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of MGR Courier Service's package-forwarding, warehouse, customs-clearance, and delivery services (the "Service"), operated between our U.S. warehouse in Plantation, Florida and our office in Kingston, Jamaica. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

MGR Courier Service provides customers with a personal U.S. mailing address for receiving online purchases, which we then consolidate for freight, clear through Jamaica Customs, and make available for pickup or islandwide delivery. We do not place orders or make purchases on a customer's behalf, and we do not offer U.S. pickup — items must be shipped directly to your assigned MGR address.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including any Authorized Pickup Person you add to it.

3. Rates, Duties & Fees

Shipping rates are published on our website and may change from time to time; the rate in effect at the time your package is processed applies. Jamaica Customs duties and GCT are set by Jamaica Customs, not MGR Courier Service, and apply to shipments with a declared value of US$100 or more. Delivery, if selected, is charged separately from shipping, and a bad-address fee may apply if a delivery attempt fails due to incomplete or inaccurate address information you provided.

4. Prohibited & Restricted Items

We cannot ship alcohol or alcohol-based products; flammable, combustible, explosive, or corrosive materials; hazardous chemicals; or illegal substances. Certain goods require an import permit or licence from a Jamaican ministry or agency before they can be shipped — it is your responsibility to confirm requirements for restricted items before sending them. Prohibited items found in transit may be held or disposed of, with any resulting regulatory or return fees charged to you. We do not ship barrels.

5. Package Handling

Each package is received, scanned, and shipped individually — we do not consolidate or split shipments. Shipments expected to exceed 100 lbs require a freight quote and authorization in advance.

6. Pickup & Delivery

A valid government-issued photo ID is required to collect packages in person, whether by you or an Authorized Pickup Person on your account. Islandwide delivery is fulfilled by partner couriers and is subject to additional fees and their delivery windows.

7. Payments

Shipping and delivery fees are payable by credit or debit card through your account, or in person at our Kingston office. You are responsible for all charges incurred on your account.

8. Loss, Damage & Liability

We take reasonable care in handling every package, and each item is scanned and logged at intake. If you believe a shipment was lost or damaged while in our care, contact us promptly with your tracking number so we can investigate. We are currently finalizing a formal shipping-protection policy; until it is published, please contact us directly to discuss coverage options for high-value shipments before you ship them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MGR Courier Service's liability for any single shipment is limited to the documented declared value of that shipment, less applicable fees, except where a claim results from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

9. Account Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being used to ship prohibited or restricted items, provide fraudulent information, or otherwise violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@mgrcourierservice.com, or via WhatsApp to our Florida or Kingston offices listed on our Locations page.
